Python in Excel - Larz60+ - Sep-29-2023

Don't know how I missed this one. The anouncement is a month old.
I found out from Guido's X (twitter) post (he helped out...)
see here
The caveat (one that I personally don't like), requires Microsoft Cloud.

You are late! It is already in the forum Tongue You have already forgotten that you read this thread one month ago!

RE: Python in Excel - Larz60+ - Sep-30-2023

My short term memory took a vacation.

Cannot be excited by this. Sad
I stay away from excel as much as posible.Especially if 10 different people have worked on 1 excel project.
One thing to get me excited though is python integration with adobe pdfs,
instead of mucking around with 4 or 5 different modules. Cool
Maybe I missed that thread too ?

I have a box that is loaded with Microsoft Windows 10 Pro. It hasn't been fired up for at least six months, so you can see that I am not a fan of MS.

Meerly passing along news, which may (or not) affect data collection (scraping) when someone uses excel as a storage medium.
