No "Post Thread" button - CynthiaMoore - Aug-27-2022

I went to the Tutorials forum to see if there is a good tutorial on getting started with Python. When I selected the Python Installation and Execution subforum, there was no Post Thread button. Am I not allowed to ask questions in that forum?

Here is a link to the subforum. For me there is a «Post Thread» button. Can you check again?

In Tutorials forum you most post in Tutorial Requests and Submissions .
Only Admin/Mod can post directly in sub-forum in Tutorials.
If Tutorial is ok we move to correct Sub forum.

Do have question about Python Installation and Execution ask in eg General Coding Help forum.

The reason we don't let any Joe Shmoe post in tutorials is because people post bad tutorials. And there is no specifics on letting people post, you either do or do not. So we have the requests and submissions thread for everyone. If there is a question you have about a tutorial, post in the general forums and link the tutorial for reference.

Ah, yes, I see now that it says that right at the top. I should have read more carefully. Thanks
