Update old Python version because of security threads - SanderV - Jun-05-2022

Hello,

I am an IT System Engineer. IT Security department asked me to update all old Python versions on our PC's because of security threads.
The python users department suggested to update all installations on 119 PC's to version 3.9.12

My plan is to first uninstall all older versions and then install the version 3.9.12

I cannot find information on how to uninstall the older version. What is the best way to do this ?

hello friend,
Have you tried uninstalling it using the windows uninstaller? Looking for older Python and uninstalling it, I hope I could have helped. I'm new in this area

Yes I did uninstall Python 3.6.2.0 but still Microsoft Defender shows these Python installations

Python 3.7.0.0

Python Launcher 3.7.6386.0

Python Launcher 3.6.6032.0

Python 3.6.2 Standard Library (64-bit) 3.6.2150.0

Python 3.7.0 Standard Library (64-bit) 3.7.150.0

Also see my attachment.

I want to completely remove all Python stuff
