I pulled 3.9.02a but don't see the interpreters module as some 2018 articles and PEP554 mention being in. Is this still totally conceptual or is there a way to mess with some of those examples found in pep554.

The Python version is listed as 3.9, which hasn't been released. See: https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0554/
